Hi,
Seeing as I don’t watch TV, ever, it means I can spend more time finding stuff like this!
These 3 tutorials are worth their weight in gold! If they had a weight.
The videos show you how to master your tracks using Ableton Live and a plugin call iZotope Ozone. You are shown how to grab the EQ settings from any professionally produced track you like and apply them to your own track! It’s amazing.
You are also taken by the hand through the entire mastering process using the plugin! Compression, Limiters and a whole load more you probably don’t know you should be doing!
I hope you enjoy them!
The videos were made by someone I have got to know called DJ Vesper! I recommend checking his webpage out if you liked these! He does crazy things with Ableton Live and Electronic woodwind instruments!
Sounds crazy but it’s true! haha
OK, I’ve got to go, 24 is about to come on! ;D
Cheers
Alan

Great tutorials. I like Ozone but have just been using the presets. Now I’m gonna get Mr Babicz to master my track for free!!
Thanks for a good video! but what happens to the master output, do you leave it where it’s at? it looks like it was hitting at about -8, kinda low?
Hey mate, thanks for bloggin the vids. Love your content. Let’s keep in touch! Cheers.

Fawesome!
I always wondered what the F were the snapshots for… nice!
Everyone, thanks for the comments, glad you liked the blog post! Special thanks to DJ Vespers for the great videos!
Man these videos are sick, I didn’t know Ozone could match eq like that!
nice
As Joey F, I’m surprised by the fact DJ Vespers didn’t talk much about the output level.
Can someone try to explain what to do cause it seems like the final level of his song is still very low compared to any “commercial” track (looking at the output level in izotope)?

WOW, I cannot tell you how your couple of vids with the four band punch with izotope has changed everything that i do. I use reason 4 rewired into ableton and your settings on each band have really given me a solid foundation for making the perfect mix everytime.
The videos are amazing. Thats all I can say! Big thanks to DJ Vespers for this outstanding contribution!
Hopefully Vespers will see all these comments and answer the questions some of you guys have posed!
He’s left comments on this post already so I’ll try and get him back!
Haha – think of the cash you have just saved!
Nice
Very nice! Thanks
